The Super NOVA has two laser tubes, upgraded motors, and faster speeds. The second RF (aka metal) laser tube produces greater detail and has a very long lifespan. The motors are upgraded to what are called Hybrid-Stepper motors, which increases the speed at which the laser operates.

The MIRA5 and MIRA7 will need to be in an environment with a little more temperature control. The temperature you set the machine will vary depending on the dew point and location of the machine.

A CO2 laser cannot engrave metal, but you can use a marking spray to create designs on metal. After the marking spray is applied to the metal, the laser fuses the spray to the surface which creates a dark marking.
You can engrave on any coated metals, like anodized or with a color on top (e.g. coated tumblers).
